The rapper has stepped out for a public event after a long hiatus…

Yo Yo Honey Singh was off the grid for a quite a while. Many speculations were made about the hit desi rapper’s absence. Some suggested that the rapper is suffering from some ailment, some hinted at drug abuse and some were quick to conclude that Yo Yo has checked himself into a rehab in Chandigarh.

But the rapper recently broke his silence and took to a social media platform to relieve his worrying fans. He posted, “With all ur blessings. My health is getting better. Keep blessing. Yo Yo,” on his Facebook page. Perhaps his press conference in Amritsar where this pic was taken, was conducted to address the reason behind his absence from the limelight. In the picture from the press con, Yo Yo doesn’t look like he is in the pink of his health. The generally lithe looking artist looks like he has gained a few pounds. He also looks exhausted.

Sources close to the Desi Kalakaar artist said that rumours about drug abuse and rehab have really upset him. The rapper’s wife Shalini Singh gave this quote to the media, “These are baseless stories. Honey is genuinely not well and is in recovery mode. He has never been a drug addict. He is yet not fit enough to defend himself.”

We just hope that Yo Yo makes a speedy recovery and returns to the music scene soon!
